Question about grass clippings Empty Question about grass clippings

I am going to try making drunken compost. My question has to do with my grass clippings. I have more grass in my back yard right now but we have 2 dogs. I've picked up all of their messes but is that grass ok to use? What if there is some remnants left  on the grass?  Am I better off just using my front lawn clippings where the dogs don't  go?
