Went to the compost heap, yesterday, and found 2 happy pea plants, growing in the grass. One of them already had blossoms and a pod. I transplanted both of them. I know peas don't like to be moved, but the lawnmower was going to get them if I didn't, so I gave it a try. Luckily, the clouds rolled in with a little rain, so they both survived. No idea what kind they are or where they came from, but they now have a forever home in the Salad Bar.
