Well, the Virginia Creeper on my fence vanished mysteriously this morning. Darned if I know how that happened. :suspect: Must've been squirrels or something.

a few minutes' Googling turned up that Virginia Creeper has been cultivated in Europe since the 17th century, so it's not a stretch to think that it's escaped a manicured estate or two since then.

Some of the apartment buildings in Paris are blanketed with it...where it serves a purpose (covering and insulating a building, and providing something green to look at...) In a regular garden, it's a pain.
