Forum Poll: Social Media

So, I've spent an embarrassing amount of time (past and present) putting together code, images, links and countless other things to make some buttons for the forum that direct link to popular social media outlets.
There are a few things to note:
1)Facebook links to a foundation page. This could/can be changed.
2)Twitter. I played with it too much and broke it! I haven't been able to make it work again...
3)G+ links directly to the forums G+ account.
4)Instagram links directly to the forums Instagram account.
5) I made a really long post better explaining all this, but I hit the wrong key and it all vanished to that magical place that I know exists but cannot access!

Anyway, I've put together a simple poll. Please take a minute to answer a few questions. Depending on what others think, there may be another poll...or two...or none

This is what the buttons look like like. Please feel free to try them out. They do work!

I have a Facebook account but seldom use it.  Part of the reason is that I love this Forum as one can go back years and years and use the Search feature.

I do online promoting for Katie's animal sanctuary and their donors, so I'm stuck using FB, which I hate with a passion.  I love Twitter and Pinterest, ignore Google+, and don't have Instagram. Most of all, I love this forum. All of the others put together couldn't hold a candle to it.

I only use Facebook and Pinterest.  Pinterest is my favorite, by far.  I have "Yard and Gardening," "Homestead and Survival," and "Feasting from the Garden" boards, which I add to daily. If other Pinners here are willing to share, I'd love to view and follow their boards, as well.

I actually look at MRs TD's Facebook account and sometimes add things or make comments on her behalf.  I don't want my own Facebook account. 

Pinterest sends me emails with gardening photos/articles.

I use this forum more than social media.

The only reason I have a FB account is because of my adult children. When they stopped using email, I missed out on photos they would post. So, I use FB for family, friends with similar political outlooks, and SFG FB .

This is my only Forum!

I have a facebook account but I do not visit it very much.  Partial messages are sent to my cell phone but I rarely follow the links to facebook.  I now have 103 unread notices.  I follow this forum and one other gardening forum.

What is 'social media'? Mostly kidding, this forum is the closest thing to social media that I use.

Re: #5 I HATE that key!! I've lost a number of long posts to that.  It's probably for the best for me because I bet I type a more direct, understandable version the second (...or occasionally third) time.

I've gotten sucked into fb. And now I'm on Pintrest. I've got a Twit acct for our business, but not personal.

For all of them, it's pretty much "glance & go on."

Honestly, I've never done Facebook and highly doubt I ever will. I do check out quite a few things on G+. I hardly ever tweet, but do have lots of things I follow there on a daily basis. I used to be a pretty heavy Instagram user, but deleted my personal account for several reasons. Never been a big Pinterest fan, but know plenty that are. And Pinterest could be a possibility also for a "button".

  Fortunately I'm a media virgin & want to save myself for someone  worthwhile instead of having my every keystroke , page visit & interests acknowledged ,recorded & interrogated so targeted adverts & false real  news sent in my direction .

Besides at my age I've not go enough time to waste it playing on the sites you've buttoned up
