The weather here in the UK in South Wales today is ...... " ORRIBLE " .
This morning 06 .45 hrs I woke up to find we have had a heavy over night frost , sleet & snow followed around 08.00 which by 10.00 had turned to persistent fine rain /fog , turning to a wind driven fine sea mist type rain & biting cold by 16.00 hrs .
At 19.15 I closed the curtains & locked the door not long after , have now resorted to semi hibernation with the heating turned up a couple of degree & now have a big mug of sweet hot chocolate to drink sat on th desk .

Here is our weather warning from Environment Canada:
"Freezing rain is expected to begin Tuesday evening and last for several hours before ending Tuesday overnight. Freezing rain over the Ottawa Valley could last longer into early Wednesday morning. A few centimetres of snow and ice pellets are likely before the freezing rain begins."

Husband was supposed to make up for slacking last week and not getting the horse manure. He said he would do it Tuesday (today), when he returned from Texas, but it's raining and supposed to rain for the rest of the week. How lucky can a guy be?

About 52 here yesterday and when I woke up this morning at 0200, it was 65 which is the high for today. Worked in the garden prepping some beds and still have a lot to do. Going to get my PVC trellis's put together today if it doesn't rain.

It's been beautiful here the last few days in CO. We hit 63 yesterday. The wind has been blowing though so it kinda ruins the mood

4 more days of rain, 5 glorious days of spring, then more rain again. Fingers crossed the next rain won't be too much to garden through.

Snow and ice over the past 24 hours. The school busses are cancelled yet again but the schools are open. So this is another "snow day" for most kids.
Going up to +5C (41F) today before plummeting down to -21C (-6F) tonight. My winter sowing containers are in for quite a ride.

We have still more rain coming after a few days of spring. I may have to garden inside all year long. Our summers are too hot and start too early. Fall days are too short and nights too cold. If rain ruins our spring, that doesn't leave much.

YIKES! I just got this pic from our son's mother-in-law. They all live together in a gorgeous Sacramento riverfront home. This is what it looks like now, with lots more rain to come. That little line that goes across from the right is a 3' retaining wall. All of the trees should be on dry land in their back yard. At least 50' of their yard (where they had their big wedding a few years ago) is now UNDER WATER!

What they disagree on is how much snow we'll get. One says <1", the other says 4-6", the third says 5-8".
