Anyone have Elderberries? Wasn't elderberry wine greatgranny's secret medicinal wine?

Yes, sanderson. I remember elderbery wine and dandelion wine for a start. Also sloe wine.

All strong stuff for a little girl who sneaked some of it.

This also reminds me of seeing a book on the library shelves called, "Dandelion Wine", by Ray Bradbury. It was a Science Fiction book and in the wrong section.

I know some ladies who make syrup and jelly with Elderberries...they say it takes a lot of work compared to other berries.

It certainly does, along with black and red currents. Never again.
