Early girl tomatoes which came in very late
Here are some of my Early Girl tomatoes which I planted in early June. They only started to ripen about two weeks ago. Better late than never

Nice! Sure beats buying tasteless maters from the supermarket.

My understanding is that Early Girl is pretty tasteless. Anyone have a contrary opinion?

THe early girl tomatoes posted were very juicy and tasty. I gave them away to many neighbors and the were very pleased with them.

I grew them last year and they did very well. I don't remember them being tasteless but then again I can barely remember what I did yesterday.

I didn't noticed poor taste but when compared to store-bought winter tomatoes they were a dream come true.

Never grew them, but have eaten them, I like their flavor, can be maybe watered down, not as sugary as some large varieties. But nice overall tomato taste. Huge huge improvement on anything you can get in a store! IMO.
