Quack Grass
Quack grass is not in my squares. It is in the middle of my creeping phlox and low growing sedum. I know that if I pull it out, after a good rain, I will get the plant out but the roots are obviously going to come back to haunt me. The area is huge and I do not want to dig it up. Is there a device that I could use (like a sponge paint brush) to put a weed killer on them without touching the flowers? I remember my Mom digging every other year and I felt sorry for her having to do it.

Re: Quack Grass
I remember a neighbor 35 years ago, who planted bush Cyprus plants instead of lawn in the front year. While they were growing, he would apply Round-up to the weeds with a paint brush.

I think I will try it. I have had not time to do it because of other things taking my attention but will let you all know if it works.sanderson wrote:I remember a neighbor 35 years ago, who planted bush Cyprus plants instead of lawn in the front year.
