Hello from Northeastern Ohio
Hello everyone I have been gardening for a many years last year I decided to buckle down and learn square foot gardening. I read the book and have taken the first two courses and it totally changed my life and the way I approach gardening. I can grow so much in a small amount of space it's unbelievable. I supply my home and my children's home all summer and fall with fresh vegetables and herbs. I wish I had started this a long time ago, but I am on a mission now to let everyone know how easy it is to walk out your front door, patio door or side door and pick whatever you want to eat out of a 4x4 box or container. This summer I will complete the Certified Instructor course. I'll be able to help school children grow the vegetables that will be served for their school lunches. Yay! So nice to meet y'all, happy gardening!

Welcome aboard, natohio! Fellow Buckeye here, northwest area! Glad you found the site and more importantly, the SFG method! It is truly amazing, isn't it? I did the original type SFG back in the late 80s/early 90s, went to traditional organic row gardening, and have seen the light and am back with the All New method.
Love your plan. Keep us posted on what you have going! Join us in your regional thread, N & C Midwest to find out what others with similar weather and conditions are dealing with! And we love pictures....

Our daughter was a preschool teacher back in the day. She helped the kids grow Brussels sprouts, then cooked and ate them. The parents were flabbergasted when their kids came home asking for Brussels sprouts for dinner.
