Left over Ham in some white beans

We had a piece of ham left over from Easter so I put it in a pot of beans and BOY was they good!!

Shoot! And I didn't even cook today! Ham, with pinto beans and white cornbread will be on the menu for Monday!

The beans were put on hold. When I mentioned your recipe, he said what about lentil soup and ham. This from a guy that wouldn't eat lentil soup all his life until a year ago when I gave him a baby bowl of my recipe (Better Home & Garden cook book 1969). He has eaten it twice now!

We will both like the bean and ham recipe over rice. Something hot and spcy.
