I am new and I am Canadian
Hi
I am from the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. My plan is to turn my property into an edible garden using the square foot method. I am starting off with strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes and herbs.

I am your Canadian Host and it is my happy job to welcome any Canadian joining our wonderful Forum.
I live in the B.C. Southern Interior so by Canadian standards I am almost your next-door neighbour.
Sorry I am a little late in welcoming you, but I have had one of those days when I have not been able to spend much time on the Internet, let alone gardening.
Sounds wonderful, an edible garden. Are Square Foot Gardening or Back to Eden kind? How large a garden do you have? I see you are just starting with four items. Good idea to start fairly slowly and get those settled in. Do you have help? So may questions that I will stop for now.
Regards from Kelejan.
