You sure picked a pretty meeting place!
I haven't been to Maui in probably 40 years, and hear it's vastly more populated and commercialized since then. Hard to picture. I'm sure it's still beautiful though. And full of crazy drivers.

As promised, I am back. Had a fine time. But I'll tell you - I think Maui must have lots more tourists (and we certainly have plenty) because there were miles and miles of tourist condos.

I went to Maui on my honeymoon 45 years ago. Beautiful place. Back then there were only a few resorts so not so touristy.

I was curious about numbers of tourists to Kauai and Maui. Looks like Maui has a little more than a million more than Kauai.

My wife and I went to both islands 2 years ago and best vacation ever!!!. Kauai is more quite and very beautiful and there were more activities is Maui.
While on Kauai we had to deal with Flossie but it is something we can say we survived as we don't have to deal with hurricanes in these parts.
