Newbie in central Texas, USA Sfg_ga13

Greetings from Taylor, Texas, USA!

I'm new to SFG. Just put up my first bed last week. So far I just have herbs in it but plan on doing some lettuce and spinach. Maybe some beets this fall/winter. I've done raised bed gardening before but not the SFG method. I'm very excited to get my garden going. If this goes well, I have another bed next to the first one that I'll fill in the spring.

Hi CindyLW.  Welcome from Atlanta, GA!  Your bed looks just fine!  I'm sure you're going to get a lot of fun & pleasure from it.

I lived in Killeen for a while, btw, so I know how hot your summers get...
