Free e-book regarding canning, pickling and preserving
Hi all. I just discovered what appears to be a very comprehensive book on canning, etc. At the moment it is free from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Canning-Pickling-Freezing-Irma-Harding-ebook/dp/B00L78AN1A/
These free offers can expire at any time, so act with haste if you want it.

I think it is time I got myself an e-book reader. Recommendations, anyone?

Kelejan, go to Amazon and set up a Kindle Cloud Reader on your computer, then you can read e-books on your computer. I can't remember much about it since I did it so long ago, but it must be pretty easy since I did it.
