Rainy Day Blues
It started raining before daylight and only just now quit. The yard is a soggy sponge with small areas of standing water. One thing that I did notice is that by the time it dries up in a couple days It'l be loquat plum picking time.

The Tom Sawyer Effect
We got a new gardening toy from Aldi the other day. It was the last one... so I figured it was something that worked. You poke it into the ground on top of a dandelion, ... step on a pedal (for lack of a better word) and then pull out the whole thing. If the ground is loose enough (like after it rains), the dandelion comes right out when you pull. Then you push a button on the top, and the dandelion ejects.
So far the novelty has not worn off for my daughter. Heh, heh.... rainy day blues equals next day project for my daughter.
