Good compost source for Texans
Just wanted to share another compost source for those of you who may be looking in the Texas area. It is called Living Earth Organic Compost. I got it from a company by the same name and used 4 bags of it this weekend to top off my beds that had settled some this winter. I asked what it is made of and was told it is 20% horse manure and 80% vegetable (it doesn't specify on the bag so that may vary by location, but that is just speculation on my part). It was $4 for a 2 cu ft bag and at least in my opinion it is REALLY nice. I looked on their website and they have 20 locations in Texas between DFW and Houston. I have no ties to this company whatsoever but I wanted to share because it was such nice compost to work with this weekend and I know that everyone is always looking for something past what the big box stores have to offer.

Kamigh, Thank you for posting this source. It looks like they use green waste and wood as the browns.
