Re: Our first Square Foot Garden
Linda! You could go on safari and have fewer mishaps!
It is us against the elements and they are throwing up their best stuff from what I have read in these posts but we are better than that! We shall prevail!
Good luck and whatever doesn't give you dengue fever will only make you stronger.

Love the info from other new SFG'ers
I'm a new SFG'er as well. I spent a few years doing container gardening...then thought it would be great to have a 'real' garden. I spent countless hours and dollars creating the perfect garden. I had amazing success growing...weeds. So, it took me a few years before i got over that disappointment and take another shot. This time, i found the SFG book and decided that I needed to try something new.
Being out in the country with lots of animals, I put together a greenhouse and put my SFG boxes inside. In about a week, my seeds were sprouting and I couldn't believe how great it is to have veggie plants growing so well. I go out and see them in the morning and after work. It's a beautiful thing.

harbor freight
I found quite a bit of information about this particular greenhouse online. With a bit of extra work, it can be made into a fairly decent greenhouse...and end up cheaper than the other's on the market.
It's the 10'x12' greenhouse that recently had a coupon for $250 off the regular price. I have a few more pics on my smugmug site:
