I am glad that so many of you are planting and/or harvesting your veggies, it gives me hope that soon I'll be among you.  Spring really is not that far away for us in the more eastern and northern parts of the country.

Still a bit early to start seeds even tho I see spring bulbs spouted a couple of inches above the ground.  Suspect that they will still be covered by snow before the winter is really over.

If it makes ya feel any better I cut my grass today so it has begun.  For us February si fertilizer month for our fruit and nut trees.  So we are already sweating in the yard. Rolling Eyes

Spring bulbs, eh? Rolling Eyes Mine may be up, too, but they are under 3-4 ft snow drifts. Don't think I'll be seeing them for a while. Sad

I always feel a little bad posting this time of the year  I love you

But by the middle of the summer when my crops are struggling against the terrible heat and yours are flourishing I guess it gets evened up, LOL!

My tulips are just peeking out of my pots on my front patio.

If any of my spring bulbs are peeking their heads out they are going to head back underground to avoid the cold!  3 degrees here this am with even colder temps and snow on the way.  But I did order replacement toad lilies today..........

It is nice to live vicariously through those who are able to grow right now!  We have been having spring weather here for the past few weeks and have set records for it.  I just know that if I treat this as officially spring and plant things, we will get hit with a very strong winter pattern that will kill everything.  It's probably an undocumentd Murphy's Law, lol!

And that is where they need to stay, CC.

Some of mine are poking through the soil as all the snow has disappeared.  I have some wood chips that tomorrow I am going to spread on the top. This must be the earliest I have known and I have been here since 1996/7 when the snow did not clear until April.
