Re: New England Dec 2014
Good for you on still being able to harvest veggies, camp. Amazing! Thanks for posting this because it reminded me that I need to get outside right now and recover my garlic bed.
Hard freezes on the way, kiddos.

PS I'm on book 8 of the Outlander series. Is anyone else enjoying this series?

Re: New England Dec 2014
You peaked my interest and I had to find out what the series was. Checked it out and realized I had read the trilogy back in 1991-1994 and never knew it had been added to. Now I'm gonna be forced to order the entire series on Kindle as I'll never be able to look through all my boxes of books to see it I kept the original paperbacks.camprn wrote:he he he, that didn't take you very long....CapeCoddess wrote:

Re: New England Dec 2014
CC - It's funny cuz it's true!
Sanderson - I've been hearing about your cold snap. From reports I heard, it won't even be accompanied by much precipitation because it came from over the desert regions? You guys just can't get a break lately.
Winter has arrived here. But days are getting longer! Once the new year arrives I plan to devote more time to reading. I got a great fairly large book from the library on composting. Just when you think you know everything about composting...

Re: New England Dec 2014
I am already in a panic over February!
The best way out of that is to plan, plan, plan. Write everything down with pictures and diagrams.
CC, you should see my magazine/book cubby, not to mention the night stand, the floor, and everywhere else. LOL.
My plan is to put all the reading materials under the pillow and absorb them by osmosis.
Haha. Actually my New Yrs. Change this year is to cut down on internet time and devote that to reading. Now that's a plan.

NHG - the osmosis sounds like a great plan! Let me know how that works for you...
As far as cutting down on internet time? Well... hmmmmm... I'd hafta think about that one. It's so much fun being here on the forum.
