Vegetable Crackers from Pulp
I had a couple cups vegetable pulp left over from making 2 qts. of V8 juice. The pulp could be frozen and go into soups or stews later on or:
There is a unique vegetable cracker recipe that uses the pulp in the dehydrator with ground chia or flax seed.
Very simple it uses 2 cups pulp, 1/2 cup ground seed, and a little sea salt to taste. Salt could be left out too. 2 or 3 hrs. on the dehydrator sheet, flip it over for another 2-3 hrs. As it dries it can be scored neatly into square crackers or else later on break into rough shape pieces.
I've got this in the dehydrator this morning and will probably follow up with a picture and taste results tonight.

I've done this. Even tried making raisin cookies & pizza crust. Used anything that would go thru the juicer. Trust me when I tell you, it's an 'aquired' taste...

Atl. Marie- I was hoping to be Wowed by the taste of all the V8 pulp ingredients but I wasn't. To answer your question down below is what went into the V8 juice- btw- v8 juice was terrific.
And I agree with capecoddess the crackers is an acquired taste I suppose.
tomatoes
onion
celery
fresh parsley
carrots
couple broccoli stumps
swiss chard
little sugar
little salt and peeper
few drops tabasco sauce
now that its all dehydrated it can still be tossed back into soup or stew later on

My worms LOVE the pulp - I wouldn't want to deprive them of their joy

Re: Vegetable Crackers from Pulp
Yes another good option. Right now mine are feasting on watermelon rinds.
