What's this plant? Weed or not?
This is growing in a back corner of my yard (not in my SFG), and I just let it grow, to see what it'll look like. Now it's very tall (6+feet), and flowering (which means I've let it set seed--yikes, if it is a weed!)
(Oops! This first one is sideways--the right side should be the bottom.)

This shows how & how many flowers grow.
Any ideas what it is? I've seen bumblebees flying around it, so that alone tells me it's a "good guy" plant. But do I really want to "encourage" it?

That is weird. I did use the middle line, and on my computer, they look normal-sized (maybe 3x4 inches.) But I'll try it again...

It looks like evening primrose to me - a wildflower, native to the US.

Thanks, Judy, but it's not. Evening primrose, I found, is a short plant, and this one's taller than I am. Plus, the flowers aren't limited to evening bloom-time. My little mystery continues...

Hi Nicola,
It might be a wingleaf primrose. It looks very similar.... however... this is supposed to be about 4.5 ft tall. Take a look though:
