Hello from Magnolia, Texas 601593 Hi, I am new to any kind of gardening. I have wanted to learn for a long time. So this spring I decided (after reading a lot of books and web pages that didn't make much sence) that I just had to get my hands dirty. I bought some pots and some dirt and planted a few things. A few days later I saw a sfg in a magizine. I went on line ordered the book and now I have something to learn from that does make sence.

I am also new to forums so please bear with me. Thank you boffer for fixing my regrestion.

The most confusing thing so far is that I don't even know what the plants are supppose to look like when they are grown. Hello from Magnolia, Texas Icon_question Ok so I am a real newbi. I never saw anything eatable growing before. The pic on here have been helpful. I have already learned a lot. (head is swelling with so much information) LOL. I will be reading everything on these forums and then watch out I have questions. Don't tell anyone but I didn't know the flower of the plant turned into the fruit. (My cherry tomato is doing very well (I think).
I hope your not laughing too hard.

Hi there, I'm from Magnolia Mississippi !!! I am new to SFG this year. I have row planted, but it was so much work in our nutrient deprived soil. I love the forum here I sit and read and read and read. I get ideas for things and then I come up with something that's an off shoot of something. Its been a good place to learn.

Thanks for the welcome. I am learning everyday. I loved watching my strawberry flower turn into a strawberry. Then I got to eat it. The plant now has four more flowers and the family all have dibs on them. Hello from Magnolia, Texas Icon_cheers I eat somthing I grew! I eat something I grew!

Welcome from another Texan. I lived in Magnolia in the mid-70's. Loved those piney woods -- and the dewberries that grew everywhere in the Spring. Eating something you grow is a very special event. Good for you. Hope you become a regular poster here.
