My house and garden in Elizabeth City are ok, but just up the road a mile there is a barn blown down, a little bit further on the same road a trailer blown off its foundation, lots of big trees down - some on houses, a chimney blown over on a roof, and power lines are still down. I lost power from 7:30 last night to 6:30 this morning. The fields around the house are either not planted or just planted so don't think there was any damage there.
Rained hard for almost 3 hours, hail for a short time and the house shook like it does in a hurricane.
