Cleaning up my beds today I went to dip the trowel in. I have about 10 inches on M.M. and 2 inches down it's frozen solid across the bed.
My plants are dying to get out.

We too are a few weeks behind with the very cold temps. Hang in there.

I need to check mine; but the prediction is the heavy rain coming down now to turn to snow............

It's even higher for me since I am further north of you;  can I finally say I am tired of winter?!

Yes indeed, it's justified!  Imagine yesterday was 60 degrees but tonight is expected to be 10 degrees.  Gusty winds will make it feel even colder still.

The good news is the extension service in my county southeast of you says flea beetles will hardy exist this summer due to the extra crazy winter conditions.  Finally, something useful from the extended cold.

I posted pictures on THIS site 2 years ago, early March, with flowers in my garden.
This year, I still have a few feet of snow on THAT garden.
Plus the several inches of frozen ground. I was planting peas this time last year   SIGH  Sad
