I love how you put your covers on hinges, and am a little jealous of your lovely chicken coop. The hens must be so happy with all that space!

What a clever idea for the covers! They look like cute little covered wagons. You mentioned that you had vegetables all through the winter...what did you use to heat your garden? I saw a house in town that had plastic set up behind their house and always had a light on day and night this past winter. They must have been doing the same thing, only we have actual winters back here! I heard that some of the usually warmer climates had real winters this past winter, too! How did you keep them warm? They look really great! Thanks so much for sharing your photos!

The covers are great. We recently had a couple of freezing nights, and we just put candles in the growers. Not one casualty! Plus, they look like big lanterns, or luminarias. There is a pic in the album.All my friend's plants are toast,but the growers totally saved my little transplants. Posted Pics of our raised beds Icon_biggrin
