My 3rd year SFG
It used to be my kids sandbox, but now it's my garden. I've found that the pvc hoops work well, and it gives me a bit of room to walk around inside. The downside is that I have to remove the chicken wire in the winter. Last year's snowfall obliterated it, and I had to rebuild it this year.

And here is a mini hoop that I use to protect my strawberries.

Oh, wow! I LOVE that. I sure hope that critters leave my stuff alone. This is the first year that I've NOT had a fence, and I'm scared. LOLOL
GREAT beds.

Re: My 3rd year SFG
I think that protection looks great. Yes, the snow can wreck chicken wire, our chicken run got destroyed this winter too (had a roof). I've been trying to get a fence up to keep my ladies (chickens) from my gardens. They do get bugs but they love greens and dig dig digging! I like that little one on the strawberries, looks easy to move when needed. Great inspiration for me. Thanks for sharing.

Love the mini!
I love that mini hoop. What a great idea. Easy to move from box to box. Plus it just looks cute.

Those are great hoop protections. I think the more we garden the more we learn, especially from other SFG gardeners here who are willing to share their gardening ideas.
Good work.
