PSA: When you think you've lost the post you just wrote...
A friend recently told me a really important piece of information. Did you know about "Control-Z"? When you have that horrible moment of "I just typed the most brilliant, witty, wise and wonderful words of my life, and then hit a wrong button that made it disappear" hit the control button and the z key, and most often you'll get back what you wrote!

Hi Martha! Thanks for this! Does it work for emails and such, or just forum posts?

I can't count how many times things disappear on me for strange and unknown reasons, like when you hit "send" or "save". Gone!!! I didn't know about Ctrl "Z". Thank you so much for sharing!

Thanks Martha! I have written posts and 'pooff' it's gone to it's home in mid-air. This will be a life savor if it only works 1 time!

It's happened to me a number of times after I hit "send" and nothing happens and everything disappears. Now I copy the post before hitting send, just in case.

Yes, Toledobend, that is an excellent practice. Control Z is for when the paragraph disappears in the middle of writing it.
