NEW to Gardening
I found the New SFG book... and decided not to wait till next year to start gardening! Got a late start with 4'x8' bed and a few free plants from a friend. I LOVE IT. For me this will be food production (and I happen to enjoy it like a hobby). I'm excited about doing this and all I have learned!
A friend dug up some tomato plants out of his yard (came back from previous year) at the time I couldn't put all of them in the bed of Mel's Mix. Needless to say the ones in the bed are above and beyond awesome compared to the potted ones in my friends fertilized soil.
I'm hooked and amazed and telling everyone in Indiana about SFG!!!

Welcome to SFG forum. Post some pics when you harvest or find something to ID. Tomato is great as long as you can keep insects, fungus, and birds from taking out your crop.
