Herb or weed?
My herb bed is looking AWFUL. Its been overrun with weeds and since its been raining so much in Ohio I havent had a chance to garden. Anyway, does anybody know what this is? It had blue/ purplish flowers on it. I think its a weed, but didnt want to take it out without being sure.
I planted cumin, lavender, oregano, and sage.

Thank you so much!!! Ughhh, I wonder if this monster weed didnt come with my bagged compost as it wasnt in or around the bed before. Great, looks like its hard to get rid of. Yay!

Wandering Jew also makes a beautiful trailing houseplant. Pot up some and hang it in a corner!

Wandering Jew takes me back a few years [decades] ! Everyone made macrame ropes for the hanging pots!

Don't go looking for the once ubiquitous macrame hangers these days. For reasons known only to the Cosmos, I decided I wanted to put plants in macrame hangers this spring and found that I needed a time machine.
You can find instructions and a limited supply of materials on eBay. No instruction books at all at Michael's or Joann's Fabrics and hardly anything in the library! If someone has an old stash they want to freecycle, I'll pay for shipping.

I made one in my earlier days but the cord was too scratchy to make any more. Found this and several more web sites for making plant hangers. Larks head knot for the ring, square knots for the rest. I never got fancy! I think I used a piece of Styrofoam ??? or was it the carpet floor ??? to which I secured the ring.
