4th year SFG on my roof
Hi all,
First time checking in with you this year. As some of you may remember, I live in Atlantic Canada and I have 4 SFG beds on my rooftop deck. I think this is my 4th year trying this, and I've had mixed success -- some veggies are growing well up there and some are complete failures. The funny thing is, the ones that work and don't work are different each year -- different weather, I suppose.
I've reigned in my variety this year, mostly sticking with the basics that have worked for me before and that I like to eat. So far my pea shoots are looking the most promising this year. I planted most items about 3 weeks ago. Wish me luck!

deck railing
I forgot to mention that one change this year is that I now have a glass railing around the roof. We'll see what if any effect that has on the garden. I'll keep you posted!

I want to see that new glass wall. I have followed your rooftop garden for 3 years.
