Found a great deal at Habitat for Humanity Store
I got 70 pvc 3/4" connectors for under $9! I had just yesterday bought enough 1/2" connectors and pipe to make the grid/watering system, for one bed, and it was about $25. The pipe is only $1.58 for 10', so it is the connectors that is the main cost. So I had given up on my dream to have the pvc grid/watering system for all of my 6 beds, at least for this year. Then I got an urge to go the the Habitat store and there were tons of connectors, 2 tubs full. I had to go through and pick out the 3/4" ones, but now I can finish my system. I plan to connect it to my rain barrels. God was so good to me today!

SCORE!!!
I love the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store up in Fargo/Moorhead, but I don't get up there very often, and I NEVER get up there with my old truck to haul anything...

Congrats on your find, Madge. My sister took me on a quest for things we didn't know we needed at Habitat for Humanity Store last week, and I came home with three 14" square tiles to use on my potting bench. Much neater than the plastic I'd been using. Nonna

I LOVE ReStore. I got ALL the windows for my ("soon" to be built) greenhouse there for $750.
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle
