Cabbage Question
Hello all, I'm new to the concept of square foot gardening, well new to gardening in general for that matter. Anyway, I have a real healthy looking cabbage plant (quite pleased with that) but the lower leaves are spreading really wide. Can I trim the lower leaves without damaging the plant? Any input would be appreciated.

Rob J! You are not the first one to have the issue with cabbages. Certainly trim a few lower leaves. Lots of different things you can do with those leaves besides tossing them in the compost heap as well. Below is a link to another thread where someone had a similar problem. Happy SFG'ing!

Take care to not trim off too many leaves, the plant needs them to collect sunshine and feed itself.
