Re: Organic Neem Oil - Garrett Juice
Have any of you ever had Neem Oil go rancid, stored on the shelf?
[I built a "list" on Amazon of Harris and other neem oils, all cold-pressed. No time to look this morning.
But that's a way to save products for comparison without overloading my computer browser with tabs.
I'll look further later. With bias towards named brands people have had luck withhere, of course.
I was just eating b'fast and went down a rabbit hole of price shopping.
Prices I found on mostly 8 16oz with a couple of larger bottles of neem oil range from around 60c / oz to
1.46/oz. (And higher, even $5/oz, many in small quantities of course. ) Will read reviews later.
The biggest bottle I found was around 168fl oz but some reviews complained of terrible terrible smell
and said it was out of date/rancid. Other reviews say theirs didn't go solid at temp., makes me think it was
diluted/adulterated with a diff oil/diff melting temp. Interesting. ]

No, I have never had one go rancid.
Since you only use 1 or 2 tablespoonfuls at a time, getting the largest size bottle available has never been my goal. The 12 oz bottle of Harris that I buy at Lowe's contains 24 Tbsp of Neem oil, so that lasts a long time fore me. It is about $15 for 12 oz, so that is about $1.25/ounce.
