In case you need a good link - The Weather Channel has a website specifically for "farmers".
It gives current weather information as well as very detailed hourly forecasts, monthly forecasts including wind and rainfall and estimated watering needs, interactive weather maps, growing degree day calculators, and much much much more. You can set it for your location and bookmark several other locations you want to watch. It can also send weather alerts to your smart phone.
