Shade tree help in clay soil
We have heavy clay soil on our farm here in central Texas. I have a few red oaks I planted 10 years ago that are just now getting to a decent size.
I would like to plant several more trees around our place such as live oak and/or burr oak and was wandering if there is anything I can do to stimulate growth. Such as fertilzers etc.

I am not a tree expert but just in general some compost should help give nutrients and improve the soil. You might look into adding some azomite also.

I suggest contacting a local arborist or the county Extension service, for the information you seek is so area specific, and there are so many variables involved.
