Has any one used a garbage disposal to make compost able  material and not flush down the drain .
Kitchen scrap  if ground into small particles compost quicker  and less chance of attracting scavengers  or insects .

Actually, a garbage disposal makes sense.  When I mentioned the concept to husband, he didn't run screaming!  Maybe try a cheapie from craig's list. . humm thinking If you set something up, let us know. It sure would have made fast work of the 25 gallons of produce spoils I had to hand chop.

My back yard is so small that my compost cage had to be a 3 foot round, not a 3 foot square.  It's currently cooking.  I'm thinking about leaves, grass and kitchen waste for a lower grade compost/mulch for the regular landscape.  I've gotten to the point that I'm a hoarder of organic waste.  I. Need. Help!
