Mason Line?
Has anyone used mason line to make your grids? I was wondering if it holds up any better than standard twine or string.
Re: Mason Line?
No, I haven't. I'll be using nylon string this summer. I'm expecting it to hold up better.
I used it last year on mine......
The stuff just disinegrated about September. I don't know what I will use this spring yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I figured it might not be much better than twine. I'm sure the Texas sun would destroy it by July 1. I've gone ahead and made my grids using 1"x2" ripped in half with a table saw to make 1"x1". You can see how it looks at my blog - http://www.timsbackyard.com/

Tim,
Your blog looks great! My newer grids look similar to yours. My original grids were made from 4 foot dowels from Home Depot zip tied together!
