Mel's Spring to Summer planting kit idea
I just copied and pasted this from my email to here - Mel sent it to me this morning and I thought I would share - It was meant for newbies and beginners who are not sure what to plant the first time and what to rotate to:
Seed Kits
Spring Seed Kit
1) Spinach
1) Beets
2) Carrots 2 kinds
2) Radishes-2 kinds, French and Sparkles
3) Lettuce- 3 kinds
2x Peas Climbing (2 squares), Sugar Snap
1) Tokyo Turnips
use 4 other Sq for second planting 2 or 3 weeks later of favorite above items
Summer Kit
Beans-pole 2 kinds
Cucumber 1 kind
Plants: 2 Vine tomatoes, cherry, early, or big boy
Summer seed vine: 2 squash-yellow, straight neck
Vine: 1 Winter Squash- butternut
Pepper plants 2 , Green,Cajun
