Hello All,
I just wanted to share some pictures of my garden or what is still growing. I have some Brussels Sprouts that growing, but taking a long time to mature. And a new planting of Broccoli. I let on of my other Broccoli plants go to flower for the Bees, hopefully in the Spring they will come back and pollinate my Spring vegies.

I green with envy ..jealous as custard .
None of my brussels sprouts did any thing other than produce masses of loose greenery due to too much rain and too much warmth plus too good a quality of MM Wink

golly gee whiz Very nice Brussels Sprouts. When did you plant those babies? And yes, they are very long growing.

Thanks for the kind words. I planted them back in late Sept or early Oct along with my first planting of Broccoli. This is my second year / attempt at Brussels Sprouts. Last year my plants only produced very, very small buds, so I pulled the plants. I see now that I should have let them go as Brussels Sprouts take a long time to mature or at least in my climate they do.

Nar.....You can pick the bs that are about an inch in diameter from the bottom up. Remove the leaves as you go.
Also, cut out the growing tip about 6" now so the sb will ripen quicker. They look great.
