Compost is our fertilizer

A great advantage to SFG is that there is no need to go out and buy fertilizers. Our compost contains the nutrients that will feed your plants. I did watch a really good video about composting recently, made in Africa.It showed making your own fertilizer by placing dried manure in a cloth bag and soaking it in a bucket of water like you would a tea bag. After a week, the water is very strong and can be diluted and fed to your plants as fertilizer...interesting, I may try it!
