Hello from England UK

My wife has always tended the small veg plot although not very productive because attacked by too many bugs etc. So last year I made a raised bed cloche 11ft x 3ft protected with insect-proof mesh, then she tried the square foot way and thinks it's great.

I also got keen on the idea and added two 12ft x 4ft cloches but at the moment starting again, as decided to raise them higher using sawn-logs to gain extra light.
Hope to send in one or two photos soon, and next time write to the appropriate European section as believe this is the right thing to do?
Wish you all very successful gardening,
from us in south Dorset UK.

Welcome to the forum. Being an Anglophine, I'd love seeing how your garden grows now that you are covering them. Pictures are always so fun and helpful. Glad to have another member on board.

Hello Dorsetsouth,
Are you near the old fossil beach ???
Welcome on board ,
It's good to hear how the not so young are making All new Square Foot Gardening their way of life .
Perhaps you or your lass will let us all in on the sucessful ways to propagate the main plants in the flower garden and any tips you can offer on any of the veg side of things.

Welcome Dorsetsouth!
How exciting to have such experienced gardeners from across the pond join our group. I started sfg when I could no longer crawl around on the ground to work my garden so I'm new to sfg too.
looking forward to your pictures!
