Well, see? This is why I just love gardens and gardeners--so positive, encouraging, and forward looking. Thank you all so much for your kind words about my little Charlie Brown beds. Actually, I'm quite fond of them and am dreaming of having them absolutely running over with beautiful green edibles and flowers this summer. Wow! 128 square feet of growing space! I guess I hadn't really done the math - Better get going on some serious planning!

Lindacol - She's a Polish hen. They're really delightful - fun funky feathers and affectionate although rather quirky personalities. I have a white one now named Phyllis (Diller). She follows me around like a dog.
