I don't know what's going on with mine. It's just kind of stalled. They've got blooms just hanging out and a bunch of pods but it seems like it's been that way for ages

Someday I'm going to get me a real live video camera and step up from the phone!

I'm so gald I have okra. Now I just really don't know what to do with it.... I think I am supposed to pick it smaller than it is right now. Mine really started doing something when I gave it a little bit more water. I don't know if that is what caused the bloom or if it was weather and GGDs. Okra is part of my evening research.
Don't be fooled. I am way, way behind on all those projects I was going to tend to this summer. Today's major project was defrosting the deep freeze and rotating the stock. I'm glad that project is done now.
It's a whole lot easier keeping track of things if I don't have to keep track of kids.
That compost holding bin is about 4 foot across. It's just welded wire fencing with the 2x4 inch openings. I love that wire fencing because I can set up a holding hoop where ever I want it.
When that holding pen gets full, I will just set up another one. when all the leaves fall off the shade trees I will layer the chopped leaves with all that stuff I have been collecting all summer and rebuild the monster compost pile!

Wow! That was great! I didn't know you could upload video here. If I can figure out how to transfer it from my vid camera, I'll try to upload my garden before it gets too late. Beautiful.
I've had a couple beautiful volunteer tomatoes too. They seem more vigorous than my planted ones! If our growing seasons were longer, we may would never have to plant tomatoes again...

LOL, I know what you mean about the volunteers. The two in the video, one is a yellow pear and the other a sweet 100. They are going gang busters. even if the fruit doesn't turn red but the time frost gets here, I will pick all the tomatoes and put them on the porch. Yummy patty pan tastes to me like a cross between zucchini & summer squash. I cook it the same way also.

I watched your tour yesterday whilst pinning a patchwork quilt together so I didn't get a chance to comment but I loved seeing your garden!
One question, you mentioned the Florida weave method of trellising tomatoes, is there more info on that somewhere in here or can you please explain further? I'm growing toms for the first time and am still trying to decide what's the best way of trellising them so any advice would be appreciated!
