drip systems - Old Root Systems Empty Old Root Systems

I emptied my 4x4 to change from saw horses to concrete blocks to raise it to waist high.....and was shocked how many old root systems were in the soil......dont remember it being discussed before....but is seems when replanting each square to "root" thru and remove these....and than it takes more than a shovel full of Mels Mix to add back....

Agreed. I had to put a couples of 6" flower pots full in some of my squares.
