Simply Amazing!
I am so amazed. I planted seeds in my first SFG 4 days ago and they're already coming up!
Armenian Cucumbers

Spaghetti Squash

Beets

Also coming up are broccoli, green beans, golden waxed beans, brussel sprouts. I'm so excited! I feel like a little kid! You probably think I'm crazy!

Don't think you are crazy at all. Watching the progress is part of the fun. I have been gardening for years and am still in awe of how a little seed can become a plant.

Yes, I also have problems plucking the little shoots off of my tomatoes; especially if they have flowers on them?

that's awesome! I'm planting seeds this week for the first time. Did you soak yours? I don't know what I am supposed to do. I have peas, sugar snaps, loose leaf lettuce, and kohlarabi!

Re: Simply Amazing!
imho, 'crazy' is not staying excited like a little kid. - Been talking to plants my whole life, and tho not in human language, they do respond... as proven
in repeated scientific experiments. They know our beliefs, intentions even at great distances, the care you give, & yes your excitement, & they're happy when you are happy, so stay happy
(I feel abit bad for wanting to get rid of dandelions, but I've been telling them, they've been here long enough, they need to go visit somewhere else now. We want to Welcome different plants presently. - But they're a bit 'stubborn', lol. But at least I won't poison them with herbicides.)
Enjoy each splendid dawn & sun-UP. Have fun! in your garden

Re: Simply Amazing!
Most everything is doing well. Here are some pictures I took this morning:

It's been really hot here. Though I'm struggling to keep other areas watered my SFG seems to be holding up well. But it's not in full sun all day either. The only thing that hasn't come up is the elephant garlic and golden waxed beans. I just planted some more seed a couple days ago. Thanks for your interest and encouragement.

Looking great! Take care of yourself and that wonderful garden in the Excessive Heat Warning posted out there! NOAA says close to 120 for some of the lower elevation desert areas!
