critters, veggies, and baby giant pumpkin
Toad on duty under a chocolate pepper plant

Resting on a Brandywine, some kind of dragon fly? with 2 sets of wings

Baby Atlantic Giant Pumpkin, pollinated yesterday, born this morning on Independance Day

First time ever garlic and first time garlic braid, pretty laughable but next time should be better!

A few more full size Nantes carrots at a dainty 6 inches.

Lastly, is my garden buddy and clown Sabrina The burlap was a nice place to sit...afterall it is a critter cage.

Re: critters, veggies, and baby giant pumpkin
AWESOME pictures, mom!!!I've found a couple curious shallow "holes" if you will in my boxes the last few days. I was afraid they were moles but there's no way for those things to get in. Think it could've been frogs/toads?
CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby pumpkin!!!!
Your carrots look SO yummy. I can only dream at this point since my spouts are still all teeny tiny and delicate.
Your garlic braid is gorgeous
I miss that silly cat so much. Can't believe I didn't get to see her when I was out there!!
Miss ya, mom!

Thanks and of course I Miss ya too Belle. If the holes in your soil mix are about the size of a quarter or a little more, I bet you too have little toads.

I think your braid is awesome!
Whenever I have holes in my garden it is from deer walking on it
...... eating my sunflowers and corn
