Post  dstubbs 7/3/2012, 11:39 am

Hi everyone,

I'm in year 3 of SFG'ing on my urban rooftop. I'm right on the ocean so get a lot of cool, wet fog, plus a lot of morning shade. I planted my veggies on the May long weekend, so we're about 5 weeks into the season now and most squares have at least sprouted something. Here's what it looks like as of this morning.

It's too bad uploading photos gives people so many problems, since photos are the best part of this forum. I'm glad you keep trying! I'd love to see your rooftop garden. Next time you're on-line, post that you'll be in the chat box seeking help - if any of us hosts are around we should be able to get you up and running.

After you choose to upload a photo from your computer and the dialog box opens, you have 3 choices. Click the middle link, copy and then paste it directly into the post you are making. Click send. At least that's the way it works for me.

I have no idea how to do it "proper" but I have a FREE account at http://www.picturetrail.com/

Once I upload to there, they not only "host" the pictures, but offer the ability to post the URL to the exact picture you want to share.

ps: They have a free download that lets you downsize your pictures so they're not such huge files. Probably does other things too, but that's what I use it for!

Not affiliated with them, no remuneration received, etc. etc.

It's not a matter of him using the "Thumbnail" code instead of the "Image" code. If it were the thumbnail code, when you clicked on it you would be taken to the full size image. Besides, earlier (it's been removed now) he tried posting different pictures and the same little image showed up. So something else is going on here...
