Just went out to water my tomatoes and found this....GROWTH....??reaction.??? Have no idea what it is, stuck my finger in the middle and it was very black centred....... Has anyone ever seen something that looks like this
THe plant looks totally fine, no other plants look affected. My sister is all for me quarantining this and taking to dump, but..... thought I would ask here first
Several weeks ago I gave some Guano from the philipines .... high in phosphate, ....??? This appears to have appeared in the matter of a day or so??

Thanks CAMPRN
I just googled weird growth and found slime molds as well.
My plant looked way to good to dig it up.
Lesson learned
I have seen slime molds out in the woods, but never in the garden Smile
