Re: Pre-made mels mix
And the failures change year to year. Last year I had beautiful collards and Kale. This year I couldn't keep the bug off them in spite of tulle, neem and bt.

Re: Pre-made mels mix
I enjoyed reading this thread and I hope the new mix is correct for those who will be shipped replacement! I am always impressed with how well so many try to cheer others on and help in any way they can! I sure have had my disappointments in my gardens because of all the variables and my own mistakes. Now if I would learn and remember what I learned, then that would be wonderful, lol!

Re: Pre-made mels mix
yes it will. We have one box already to go, so we are going to plant that one first with several different things to see how it does. The mix looks the same, so hoping it has all the "goodies" to make stuff really grow! Need to check with the So Calif page and see what to plant !

Re: Pre-made mels mix
This is what we found today in the new bags of the Pre Made Mel's Mix. NOT HAPPY. There is no way this was composted. It's a 2x6 board.
We spent the day making the beds and getting the beds ready to fill, and found this.
