Suggestions on what to to plant late June in New England?
I have a few empty squares and was wondering if anyone has advice on what would be good to plant now in New England? thanks!

I just planted beans, was thinking about putting in more breakfast radish...
you could try carrots, parsnips, turnips, kohlrabi, I think you can plant some kinds of potatoes now... of course, transplant any of the hot weather veggies, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, squash........ flowers.....

How cold does your winter get? Territorial Seeds recommends beets, kales, purple sprouting broccoli, carrots...all for spring harvest. Can you protect them with row covers or hoop houses to ensure a successful spring harvest? Purple sprouting broccoli has been very good to us. With only 3 surviving plants, we can pick enough sprouts for a dinner side dish twice a week. They look very like broccoli raab, but are sweeter tasting.
